About Us
A Council of Community Service in Malvern was established in 1972. Since then we have undergone a couple of name changes and in 2001 we moved to our current location in Belle Vue Terrace.
Today, Community Action Malvern and District have a core of 7 staff and more than 100 volunteers.
We are a registered charity and have an Executive Committee, made up of representatives of local charities and voluntary groups, which meets to determine policy.
We are a member of Volunteering England and an associate member of The National Association of Voluntary Community Action (NAVCA).
The Office is open from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm Monday - Friday.
The following services are staffed on:
- Car Service - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday; as well as Monday and Thursday only from 12.30 pm - 3.30pm.
- Volunteer Centre - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- Minibus - Monday, Thursday and Friday.
- Shoparound - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Administration - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
