COMMUNITY ACTION HELP AT DRUM HEAD SERVICE

Two retired Royal Signals were reunited by chance when Community Action driver Les Plumb took Deputy Mayor Brian Regimbeau to the Drumhead Service at Gheluvelt Park in Worcester last weekend.

The service, which was held in commemoration of the end of World War I, was very moving with music from the Band of the Grenadier Guards and the choir from Worcester Cathedral. It was attended by Lord Lieutenants and many other elected members of local councils.

Brian, who is Vice-Chairman of Community Action, was surprised to see Les Plumb arrive to take him to the service wearing the Royal Signals tie and they had a fantastic time reminiscing about old times.
