Meet our trustees
Following 22 years serving in the Royal Air Force, Nick has held senior management roles in both the public and private sector. He is currently working as a programme management consultant supporting clients across the UK.
Nick started volunteering as a driver with Community Action in 2017 and now shares responsibility with the other trustees providing support and oversight. He has lived in Worcestershire for 21 years and held the role as Chair of the Defford Airfield Heritage Group at NT Croome.

I am the Co-Founder of Ashwell Care, an award-winning home care provider supporting people across Malvern, Upton upon Severn, Worcester and the surrounding communities. Prior to entering the care sector, I held senior leadership roles within the travel industry, leading teams, driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Over the past seven years, I have channelled that experience into building Ashwell Care, a values-led organisation dedicated to helping people remain independent in their own homes. I am passionate about developing strong teams, supporting local communities and creating services that make a genuine difference to people's lives.
Chris Bartlett

(Malvern Shed Lead)
Chris has spent his whole career in the high tech engineering industry, including a spell at QinetiQ in Malvern. A trained negotiator and mediator, he has international experience in commercial and governmental contract negotiation. His association with Malvern dates from the 1980s and work at what was then RSRE, and he has now retired to live here permanently.
He has had previous roles as a transport coordinator for a local charity in the south-east, and as a driver for the disabled, and has many years experience with the elderly and infirm. Other interests include classic cars and antique maps, so expect to break down and get lost if he offers you a lift!
Anne is an active member of the Operations and Planning Committeefor Malvern Town Council, Victoria Park Task and Finish Group, and Staffing Committee Task and Finish Group. Additionally, Anne is involved with the Skatepark Focus Group and serves as a representative for the Malvern Bagnères de Bigorre Twinning Association.

Anne has been a great help with our office move to Malvern Link, her experience in decision making has proved invaluable.

Megan Jones

Megan was born and raised in Worcestershire and has lived in Malvern since 2013. After studying Law at the University of Birmingham, she built a career in legal services, customer care and further education, coaching people across a range of industries to develop their skills, confidence and leadership potential.

Outside of work, Megan is passionate about music, dance and history. She is an active member of The People's Show Choir – Malvern and enjoys ballroom, Latin and Regency dance, as well as creating her own historical costumes.

Megan is committed to supporting her local community and believes in the power of creativity, connection and shared experiences to improve wellbeing and help people thrive.
David Asquith
Trustee
David became a Trustee of Community Action in 2026 and brings to the charity a wealth of business experience. He worked primarily in the energy sector for large organisations and then latterly as a consultant and has lived in Malvern since his childhood. In past years he has been an active fundraiser for Kidney Cancer UK.
His interests focus mainly on sport which these days involves more watching than playing. He can be found at our County Cricket ground on summer days and at the Hawthorns during the winter and happily concedes that both venues provide some of the ups, and a lot of downs, of sporting endeavour.
