How to use our
Wheelchair Vehicle Service
We try to be as flexible as possible, but please be aware that our drivers are unable to assist with moving and handling, or care needs. ​​​There are two ways to make use of the vehicles:​
For medical appointments
Just call the office and we will find a volunteer driver to take you. Fares are the same as for our usual car service.
For other social occasions
With a volunteer driver we can help you get out and about for social occasions. For more information please phone the office and we will be happy to help with your enquiry.

We ask for a minimum of 7 calendar days when booking our wheelchair service.
We appreciate that this may not be possible with last minute medical appointments so we will endeavour to assist at shorter notice for these appointments.

All our drivers are volunteers who kindly offer their own time to support others in need.

All lifts need to be booked in advance so that we can arrange the trip with our volunteers.

Car Service
Our car service supports the elderly and disabled who need assistance getting around. We prioritise medical appointments but also provide transport for shopping, hairdressers, and other needs.
Minibus Hire
We currently run three minibuses for the use of local groups, organisations and individuals, such as church groups, Scouts, Boys Brigade, youth groups, retirement homes, etc. Two buses are fitted with hydraulic rear passenger lifts.
