How to use our
Wheelchair Vehicle Service
We try to be as flexible as possible, but please be aware that our drivers are unable to assist with moving and handling, or care needs. There are two ways to make use of the vehicles:
This is a chargeable service with affordable rates to ensure it remains accessible while maintaining a high standard of care and reliability.
For medical appointments
Just call the office and we will find a volunteer driver to take you. Fares are the same as for our usual car service.
For other social occasions
With a volunteer driver we can help you get out and about for social occasions. For more information please phone the office and we will be happy to help with your enquiry.

We ask for at least 7 calendar days notice when booking our wheelchair service and fares are payable on the day of the journey.
We appreciate that this may not be possible with last minute medical appointments so we will endeavour to assist at shorter notice for these appointments.
All our drivers are volunteers who kindly offer their own time to support others in need.
All lifts need to be booked in advance so that we can arrange the trip with our volunteers.
