โ€‹

Music – Our Community Celebration will open at 11.30am with a performance of traditional dancing and songs by our local Ukrainian community.

โ€‹

From 12 till 1pm, Malvern’s 80-strong I-Sing choir will perform.

โ€‹

Talk - At 1pm, our local solo transatlantic rower, Lara Vafiadis, will explain her terrifying journey across 3,000 miles of ocean.  We hope she’ll bring her rowing boat so you can see just how tiny her home was for 98 days and 22 hours at sea.

โ€‹

Dance – At 1.15pm Malvern’s So Xsighted visually-impaired Morris dancers will perform.

โ€‹

At 2.30pm, the band in the park will be West Coast Sound, playing the cool modern jazz of the 1950s and 1960s, think Miles Davis and Gerry Mulligan.

โ€‹

What else is happening?

โ€‹

๐Ÿพ  Dog Show – Don’t leave your dogs home alone – they’d like to come with you to show off their looks and skills.  Find out all the details here

๐Ÿ’ฅ Exciting Displays - Come and meet your local heroes with brilliant displays from the Police, Fire Service, and a line-up of stunning vintage cars.

โ€‹

Local Groups – If you’re looking for a new pastime, or just want to make some new friends, our stands will feature some of our brilliant local groups such as Vincent Wildlife Trust, Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, Malvern Family History Society, Men’s Shed and Sense Adventures for the visually impaired.

โ€‹

Malvern Hills Car Clubs will explain how easy – and green – it is to car-share and the newly-opened Stitch Hollow will introduce you to some of our local crafters.  If you’re into gardening, you’ll find inspiration at Flourish Plants.  And if you didn’t know the Malvern Fashion Museum is about to open in Bellevue Terrace, now’s your chance to find out more.

๐Ÿ” Delicious Food Stalls - There’s something for everyone.  Why cook Sunday lunch when Shaista Begum of SB Kitchen has cooked up an array of tasty Indian street food for you to try?  Or visit Food for Thought’s stand for crispy chips and chunky burgers.

Little Al’s Kitchen runs the coffee shops at The Commandery in Worcester and The Firs (Elgar’s birthplace) - if you’ve been there you’ll know you’re in for a treat with their sustainably-sourced coffee, cakes and pizzas. Head for Whinny’s horsebox and you’ll find barista coffee there too.  If it’s too hot for hot drinks, cool off with some ice cream from longstanding local favourite Bennett’s from Lower Wick.  And don’t forget to try  the craft ales from Worcester’s award-winning Copper Beech Brewing Co and 3 Words Brewing including their seriously good gluten-free option.

We can’t wait to see you there!
