Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well. Just a short note to introduce myself as our new Chair of Trustees. It is a privilege to step into this role and continue to represent such a dedicated team of Trustees, Staff, and Volunteers who work so tirelessly to support our community here in Malvern and District.
I started volunteering with Community Action in 2016 and so have seen firsthand the positive impact we have tackling loneliness and helping people stay connected through the many essential services we provide.
I am so proud of what we have achieved, most recently moving office, modernising our vehicle fleet and developing such a strong and effective team. I am determined that we consolidate and build on these successes and continue our mission to improve the lives of those we serve.
As Chair, I will collaborate with Launa, her leadership team, and our Trustees to strengthen our position, engage the community, and stay responsive to changing needs. Teamwork is essential to this so please do reach out if you have ideas, questions or simply want to say hello.
Warm regards,
Nick (Barney) Hubble
Chair, Community Action Malvern & District
PS. I also answer to Barney - a legacy of my RAF service where they have a thing about nicknames.

It is wonderful when an organization combines strategic vision with practical care for people. The blog post A message from our new Chair of Trustees conveys a desire to create an environment where the health and well-being of community members are a priority. That is why the article https://ways2well.com/blog/relieve-neck-pain-with-non-surgical-treatments-at-ways2well seems so relevant: it shows specific ways to relieve neck pain without surgery, focusing on safe and comprehensive methods. This illustrates how health support can become part of a broader organizational mission, where strategy and caring for people go hand in hand. Implementing such practices inspires people to actively take care of themselves and create a culture of well-being within the community.
