Community Action Malvern & District hosts Murder Mystery Evenings at Colwall Village Hall
A murder has taken place on Death Mountain, and you are invited to come and solve the crime… (a truly amazing prize for the top solution!)
Taking place on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st February, grab your winter gear, rally your friends and join the fun where you all put your detective skills to the test.
Running over three nights, the murder mystery, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Swiss Alps, will be taking place at the après ski location of Colwall Village Hall. Death Mountain is a live, whodunnit performance by Colwall Players, where the plot will unfold right in front of you, but the mystery will need your input to reveal the murderer.
Dianne Lloyd, from The Colwall Players, commented:
“This is going to be an evening, where the drama and murder leaves guests full of suspense and intrigue. We hope those who think they would make a good Miss Marple or Poirot, or maybe you have your own version of the Thursday Murder Club, come along with family, friends or even work colleagues and help solve the murder.”
Tim Kidwell, Volunteer at Community Action Malvern and Master of Ceremonies at the event, commented:
“Our Murder Mystery evenings are going to be full of suspense and a great evening of good hearty food, entertainment in a winter wonderland setting, as well great prizes for the winners and we will also be doing a raffle too. We want everyone to embrace the alpine style and dress up in their winter and ski gear; whether that’s goggles and gloves or salopettes and full ski suits - if you see it on the mountains we want to see it at the event!
“We hope to raise a lot of money for Community Action Malvern & District so please come along and join in the fun so we can continue our mission to beat loneliness and help those feeling isolated. The more money we raise means we can continue to offer essential transport, regular community events, coffee mornings, Sunday tea clubs, day trips and outings for those in our community.”

The event starts at 7pm for 7:30pm and finishes at approximately 10pm.

Price:
Tickets cost £25 each for adults and £20 each for under 16s, and teams of four are encouraged.
Each ticket includes one free drink from the licensed bar, and a hot two course meal of a hearty chilli con carne with rice, and cheesecake for dessert. There will also be a vegetarian, vegan and gluten free chili for those with dietary requirements. Tea and coffee will be served during the evening and there will also be a bar available which takes both cash and card.
